Editorial Independence

Tech26 is entirely independent. We do not accept payment, sponsorship, or merchandise from smartphone manufacturers in exchange for reviews, rankings, or scores. Our scores are calculated deterministically by our decision core database, ensuring no manufacturer can pay to artificially inflate their device metrics.

Spec Verification & Accuracy

Hallucinations and spec errors damage trust. We perform multi-tier verification on all smartphone technical specifications:

• Tier 1: Data is fetched from official manufacturer documents, whitepapers, and brand launch pages.
• Tier 2: Data is cross-referenced with live retail specifications on trusted platforms (Amazon India, Flipkart).
• Tier 3: Prior to publishing, our technical editorial team audits hardware details to ensure benchmarks and parameters match retail models.

Corrections Protocol

We acknowledge that mobile technology moves rapidly, and mistakes can happen. When a specification or score discrepancy is identified:

• We immediately audit the data field in our master Supabase database.
• Corrections are pushed live site-wide within 24 hours of confirmation.
• If you spot a spec error, you can report it directly to our editorial desk at [email protected].

Affiliate Integrity

We use affiliate links to support our infrastructure and team. However, the presence of an affiliate link has zero influence on whether a phone is recommended. A phone with lower benchmark scores or poor user ratings will rank poorly regardless of its affiliate commissions. We recommend only what the data and neural algorithms identify as the best options for the consumer.
